"Ladybug, Ladybug, fly away home..."

The Legend of the Ladybug dates back to 1700's where the English Farmers would set torches to the old hop vines following the harvest to clear the fields for the next planting. The "Ladybug, Ladybug fly away home" poem was recited by the farmers as a warning to the Ladybugs, still crawling on the vines in search of aphids.
