      VanderBear Back to School Collection was released between 1990-1993. From the Back to School Collection is Muffy and Hoppy, both are in excellent condition and both comes with a doll stand. Muffy is wearing black and white number print dress with white trim, red beret, red Mary Jane shoes and a red school bag with black trim. Hoppy is wearing a red and white number print dress with white trim, black beret, black Mary Jane shoes, and a red school bag with black trim.

      It was with this collection that Muffy's new friend, Hoppy, was introduced and became Muffy's "bosom bunny"! Hoppy's parents travel a lot (which is not unusual for a family of rabbits). When they are gone, Hoppy stays with the VanderBears and joins them in many of their adventures.
